Turkey, Museums, and the Start of Christmas
The extended holiday break was exactly what Ella needed due to the rigid demands of life at day care. She celebrated Thanksgiving at home with the Bourff’s on Thursday. She ate plenty of turkey, as well as all the traditional accompaniments. On Friday, Ella returned to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, which was an idea she seemingly shared with just about every other kid in Indianapolis. However, there was still plenty to do despite the large turnout. Mom and Dad made the mistake of trying to ensure Ella frequented every exhibit the museum offered. This seemed to frustrate Ella, as she seemed more than willing to spend her entire stay at one exhibit. Later that day, Ella assisted Mom and Dad in decorating the house for the Christmas season. It has been enjoyable watching Ella’s reaction to the Christmas décor. However, there still seems to be some hesitation when in the presence of the “man in red”. Ella’s opportunity to visit with Santa is approaching soon, and it’s unsure at this time how she’ll respond. We’ll see.

"So what if every other kid in the museum has touched this? Explain to me why I can't put this in my mouth"

"If you want me out of here, Dad, you're gonna have to come in and get me."
