The Doll House

This past Saturday, Nana and Papaw presented Ella with her first Christmas gift of the season. Papaw has spent the last couple of months working tirelessly on a doll house for Ella. He was able to finish the project just in time for Christmas. As you can see from the pictures below, the end result was a product any doll would love to call home. Nana and Papaw stopped by and setup the house, and all of its accessories (i.e. furniture, dolls, etc), while Ella was taking her nap. Upon waking, Ella was excited to see Nana and Papaw, but the first words she spoke as she walked into the living room were, “House!”, as her eyes fixated on her new gift. She has spent most of her time the last few days funneling her dolls repeatedly through the front door, and from room to room. There is even a doll replica of Dad. For whatever reason, he’s always face-first in the bed, covered up with blankets and pillows, while everyone else is socializing in the living room. Not sure what that means?
