Weekend at the Track

This past weekend Ella and Coltyn experienced first-hand the excitement of May in Indiana. As official Kids Club members, they attended “Bump Day” at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. They witnessed qualifications, as well as practice, from practically every angle. They first watched qualifications at the start/finish line in the Penthouse section. Later in the afternoon, they enjoyed watching several practice laps from the Turn One Penthouse section. Fortunately, there were several cars on the track, so that generated quite a bit of excitement. In addition to that, Ella and Coltyn made sure to visit with Nana at the ticket office. She enjoyed seeing their face paint (Ella was a cat, Coltyn a pirate), and hearing of all the activities they participated in. It was a great first experience to the track, and will be the first of many more to come.
