A couple of weeks back, Coltyn, Mom, and Papaw B. escaped to Tunica, Mississippi to attend the World Champion Palomino Horse Show. They did not return empty handed. Mom, and Sunshine, won World Champion in both Amateur and Open 4 year old mare classes. Coltyn was excited about the accomplishment, but more so because of the resulting trophy he received.

On July 24th, Ella lost her first tooth, which had been on the verge of falling out for a couple of months. It put up a valiant fight, but eventually relented to the confines of the Tooth Fairy. When Ella placed her tooth under her pillow, she mentioned to both Mom and Dad that she hoped the Tooth Fairy would bring at least $5.00, because nothing can purchased for anything less than that amount. Pretty much the tooth, er, truth.
