Coltyn, is completely oblivious to the holiday, to be honest. However, the animated Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause figurines that sit adjacent to his Christmas tree do seem to captivate his attention. For whatever reason, it appears he feels threatened by them and their subtle, robotic gyrations. He regularly crawls up to them with an aggressive demeanor, only to viciously swipe one of them over as if he were a ferocious bear. Obviously, Coltyn is doing nothing to promote himself to Santa’s “good” list.

The Anticipation Begins
Ella is approaching the age where she’s starting to figure this whole Christmas thing out. Mom and Dad welcome this, as they can now leverage this to their advantage when seeking good behavior from Ella. A simple, “Santa is watching”, “You don’t want to be on the naughty list do you?”, etc will, under most circumstances, yield an abrupt change in behavior from Ella. She’s motivated to exhibiting good behavior this Christmas season in hopes of getting candy, and lots of it. Forget the toys, dress-up clothes, dolls. Ella wants sugar.

Poor Mrs. Claus in the background. Still visibly shaken from her most recent attack

It wouldn't be Thanksgiving if the Mermaid didn't make an appearance
