Fun with Mimi and Nana

This past weekend, Ella and Coltyn assisted in the celebration of Mimi’s birthday. Mimi, recovering from a recent stint in the hospital, was thrilled to have them over for dinner. While there, Ella and Coltyn visited the Bourff's barn to hang out with the ponies, barn cats, and prize-winning Palomino’s (Poptart & Clue). Ella assisted Papaw in feeding both Poptart and Clue. Her verbal command of “Eat horsey, eat horsey now!” was instrumental in providing the necessary guidance for each horse to commence feeding.

Nana also visited this past weekend, allowing Mom and Dad to escape to a much needed dinner with friends Brian and Katie. Ella couldn’t wait for Nana to arrive. She is doing a little better at sharing her Nana with Coltyn. However, she's still very rigid in the visitation rights she permits Coltyn to have with her. According to Ella, the world is in perfect balance when the ratio of Coltyn-and-Nana time does not exceed 5% of that of Ella-and-Nana time. In fear of the repercussions, we don’t dare attempt to offset this harmony.

Coltyn is doing very good these days. He’s quickly growing at a good pace, and has given Mom and Dad a much needed reprieve as he’s elected to start sleeping through most of the night. The Price family is doing good these days…

No, Dad didn't dress her.
