To Ella’s delight, she will soon inherent the title “Big Sister” when her little brother is born February of next year. Ella, to be honest, seems relatively unaltered by this recent revelation. That will inevitably change when focus and attention is no longer solely directed at her, and instead cast upon her baby bro. However, Mom and Dad have no doubts Ella will be a great big sister and are eagerly awaiting his arrival.
This past weekend, Ella enjoyed spending time with all of her grandparents. She even spent some time visiting a farm featuring a miniature pony. Ella wasn’t exactly sure what to think of the diminutive version of the horses she’s accustomed to. Therefore, she was somewhat reluctant to take the little guy for a ride. Instead, she ventured over to the stallion and befriended him. Evidently, Ella has acquired a certain sense of entitlement now that she’s going to be a big sister. By default, she is now “too big” for ponies and is now ready for the large scale versions. And it begins…..
