On Saturday, Ella kicked off the Mother's Day weekend celebration by attending dinner at Outback with Mimi, Gladys, Papaw B, and Mom and Dad. Ella bypassed the fillet mignon, and instead, settled on the grilled cheese sandwich and fries. She had fun entertaining at the dinner table. A few bites of dessert afterwards quickly sent Ella into a mode never before witnessed. As she exited the restaurant she danced and spun as if she was performing some sort of tribal ritual. This entertained several people waiting to be seated.
On Sunday, Nana and Papaw visited. Ella enjoyed hanging out, and even referenced both Nana and Papaw by name as their car pulled into the driveway.
Although Ella always makes an effort each and every day to let Mom know just how important she is, she formally announced it again on Sunday. She knows just how much her Mom unselfishly provides for her. In addition, she knows just how fortunate she is to have such a special Mom in her life. On her 2nd Mother's Day weekend, Ella hopes Mom knows just how appreciative she is
Happy Mother's Day, Mom!
