Ella found the hat rack this weekend. One strong pull of the base and the hat rack noisily fell to the ground, dispersing the many hats across the foyer floor. Ella was overjoyed by the selection of distinct hats (i.e. ball caps, stocking caps, straw hats, etc) that had rained down upon her. As a result, she felt compelled to model each and every one while Mom and Dad intently watched.
It has become increasingly clear that Ella has a mind of her own. She will only wear a hat for an extended amount of time if it's applied by her own, little hands. The hat will immediately be removed and thrown violently to the floor if it's applied by anyone else. This behavior is not exclusive to just hats, as you can imagine....
