Ella had a highly eventful weekend. On Friday, Ella attended her friend, Lexy's, 10 year birthday party. She had a blast trying to keep up with the older kids and enjoyed watching their pillow fight. Maybe next year she'll be able to participate? On Saturday, Ella spent the evening with Nana, which allowed Mom and Dad to escape with friends for dinner and drinks at Bonge's restaurant in Perkinsville. While Mom and Dad were away, Nana taught Ella how to clap her hands during the "pat-a-cake" song. Ever since that tutorial, Ella loves to clap her hands, which persists even when she's doing something Mom and Dad disapprove of.
On Sunday, Ella visited with Mimi, Papaw B., and Great-Grandma Glady's. She enjoyed showing off her mobility, her new sense of independence, and of course, tasting Glady's sweet potatoes.
Once again, she was happy to witness yet another Colt's victory. The pictures below were taken by Aunt Andrea (soon to be professional photographer). And yes, Ella wears her Colts cheerleading outfit every Sunday. She, and maybe Dad, wouldn't have it any other way.
