Ella at 2 Months

Yesterday was an exciting day for Ella. She visited Dr. Meg for a 2-month checkup, as well as receive her 2-month immunization shots. As the shots were administered, a very talkative Ella abruptly became silent. The silence was followed by a piercing glare directly into the eyes of Mom. The events that unfolded next vary depending upon who you speak to. However, we're positive that Ella learned to curse the moment the penetrating needle found its home in her leg. However, she was able to regain her composure within a couple of minutes and was soon babbling and cooing within the embracing arms of Mom, completely oblivious to the events that had just transpired.

Here are the stats:

Ella is now over 24 inches long and weighs 11 pounds 2 ounces. We're just amazed by how much she has progressed over the last few weeks. She smiles and "talks" regularly and is even beginning to get dad wrapped around her finger. She knows just when to stick out that bottom lip.
