Virginia, Camping, Colt’s Game, New Dog, etc….

The last couple of weeks have been busy to say the least. Since returning from the annual softball tournament in Roanoke, VA, the Price family has been on the move. But first, the Price family introduces its newest member, “Sugar”. Sugar is a two year old min-pin, and has been a great addition to the family. She absolutely loves the kids, and has even started warming up to Dad. Evidently it takes a bit more time for Sugar to warm up to dudes.

This past weekend, Ella and Coltyn, along with the Walker’s, Untersee’s, and Wells, spent some time in Brown County “roughing” it a bit. Even though the weather was hot, they still managed to enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, riding horses, and climbing fire towers. The weather was dry, well, until the overnight hours. Fortunately, everyone remained dry while sleeping in their tents. However, it wasn’t the most peaceful slumber.

On Sunday afternoon, Ella and Coltyn attended their first Colt’s game. Fortunately, the Colts escaped with a win, preventing a less memorable first experience from occurring. Ella, clearly exhausted from the overnight camping experience, fell asleep late in the 4th quarter. However, Coltyn did not succumb to the exhaustion. He enjoyed every moment of the game. His head was on a constant swivel, and he especially loved screaming/clapping while the Colts were on defense. Ella and Coltyn even witnessed an overly-intoxicated, raucous Raiders fan get escorted out of the stadium, which officially put the stamp on their first NFL game experience!
