On Easter Sunday, Ella and Coltyn attended church with Mom and Dad. The service exceeded capacity, so they were forced to stand at the back. The kids adapted well, and were well behaved throughout the entire service. At one point during communion, Coltyn kneeled next to Mom. A bell rang, and Coltyn shouted, “Ma! Why are they ringing the doorbell, nobody is home!”. Several people adjacent to Coltyn started laughing, but Coltyn was clearly confused, and frustrated. He’s not one for “unnecessary” bell ringing evidently. After the completion of church, Ella and Coltyn went to lunch at Scotty’s with Mimi and Papaw. After lunch they had yet another Easter egg hunt, so their stockpile of candy increased to astronomical proportions. Several of the eggs even contained money. So when Ella and Coltyn were asked what they would purchase with the unexpected income, each responded with “candy”. Go figure…

Easter Weekend - 2012
Easter weekend 2012 kicked off for Ella and Coltyn with a Good Friday visit from Nana. Ella and Nana took in a movie (Mirror Mirror), and then upon completion picked up Coltyn and headed to Menchie's for ice cream. They had a great time spending the afternoon with Nana. On Saturday, they ventured to Clay Terrace to participate in an Easter Egg hunt. In all honesty, it wasn’t the most organized event. Instead of segmenting the hunts by age group as announced, it simply evolved into one chaotic egg pursuit. Unfortunately, there were no remaining eggs for Ella’s age group. However, the group was well mannered and several of the younger kids, including Coltyn, shared their eggs so tears could be kept to a minimum. Later that afternoon, the entire Price family, including cousin Tyler, stopped by for an Easter dinner. The kids enjoyed playing baseball in the back yard and bouncing in the bounce house. They had a blast.
