Unfortunately, it was difficult returning home after such an enjoyable vacation. However, the kids enjoyed their escape from the mundane and monotonous toll of Daycare, and daily life with Mom and Dad.

Hilton Head – May 2011
Both Ella and Coltyn thoroughly enjoyed their return to South Carolina last week. They soaked up as much sun as they could, splashed as much water out of the ocean and pools humanly possible, and managed to not significantly damage the island in the process. They visited some of their favorite locations and restaurants, and tried a few new things as well. For the first time, they rented bikes to view the island from a different perspective. Coltyn preferred to ride with Mom, while Ella seemed to trust Dad a bit more. Fortunately, both Mom and Dad managed to keep the bikes upright throughout their trips.
