Indiana State Fair - 2009

On Saturday, the Price's ventured to the Indiana State Fair along with Papaw B. Indiana weather has been unseasonably cool as of late. However, the start of Fair season has been accompanied with much warmer/humid temperatures. But that didn't detour Ella and Coltyn from partaking in a rich, Indiana tradition. Upon arrival at the fairgrounds, Ella requested they visit the "stinky pigs" first. Next, it was onto the sheep's, followed by the horses and cows. Ella and Coltyn enjoyed the livestock, but it was the Midway they seemed to favor most. Well, Ella at least. While Ella and Dad darted directly to the caterpillar roller coaster, Coltyn chose to take an early lunch break and watched big sister tear up the Midway. Ella later rode the Carousel with Mom, followed by the Bumble Bee ride with Papaw. After working up an appetite, everyone headed to the Cattle Company Ribeye booth for lunch. Upon devouring lunch, Ella and Papaw split an ice cream cone. Ella was not finished, however. She then helped Dad scarf down an elephant ear. Unfortunately, Ella left no room for a deep-fried twinkie, deep-fried pizza, chocolate covered bacon, monster corn-dog, etc. Her arteries thanked her.

"Awesome, I can't wait to go to the Fair! Wait, what's a Fair?"




"Ok, Mr. Sheep, let's test your IQ. Am I holding up one finger, or two?"



"Now Papaw, if you start to feel queasy, please lean over to your left. I don't think your breakfast would look good on my new outfit."
