Ella returned to Tulsa, Oklahoma this past week for the annual Palomino World Horse Show. She had high hopes Mom would acquire a fancy grand-champion ribbon and accompanying trophy again this year. However, it wasn't meant to be. Mom mustered a 5th place showing. Nonetheless, Ella didn't mind because she had a Barbie 4-wheeler waiting for her back at the horse stall (courtesy of Aunt Carol). Horses were secondary to this fancy vehicle. Ella mastered the acceleration; however, her steering left a lot to be desired. She was more fascinated with ensuring everyone was looking at her, which meant anything in her path was subject to collision. Ella assumed that since it was a "4-wheeler" there were no obstacles that couldn't be conquered. She quickly learned that a concrete wall or horse stall were simply too much for her 6V battery operated vehicle.
