"Babe"

The last week of school has been interesting for both Ella and Coltyn. Earlier in the week, Ella was reprimanded for engaging in play that was deemed to be a little too aggressive for kindergarten aged children. To be fair, Ella wasn't the aggressor, but she was equally responsible for allowing the play to get a bit out of hand. Once Mom and Dad received the news from Ella's teacher, they thought it would be best if Ella apologized again the following day. Ella took it one step further, and recommended she make an "apology card" for her friend. Below is the final version:

Also this week, Coltyn's class participated in a group discussion focusing on their parents names and occupations. When it became Coltyn's turn, he was asked if he knew his Dad's name. Coltyn easily responded with, "Andy". When prompted for his Mom's name, Coltyn quickly responded with "Babe". Little ears pick up more than you think sometimes.
