The Return to Stoney Creek Farms

In keeping with tradition, Ella and Coltyn returned to Stoney Creek Farms this past weekend to participate in some Fall fun. Upon arrival, they headed directly to the pony rides.  Coltyn hopped up on “Simon”, a 23 year old pony.  Simon looked every bit of 23, and then some, but he managed to trot Coltyn around the loop at a nice, pleasant pace.  Ella chose to ride the largest pony.  However, there was no conversing.  There was no time for exchanging names or idle chit chat. Ella was all business as she traversed the nameless pony around the track.

After completing the pony rides, Ella and Coltyn explored the rest of the farm.  Of course, this included a hayride out to the pumpkin patch.  Ella and Coltyn sifted through several pumpkins before deciding on the perfect one.   They also took a ride on the pumpkin train, climbed the hay mound, traveled down the buried slide, and navigated the hay maze. Until next year….

Ella was not a fan of the buried slide.

Took awhile, but Simon eventually made a complete lap
