Ella Starts Getting Into the Christmas Spirit

Over the past weekend, Ella had several opportunities to apply her most recent “learned behavior”. When prompted, Ella can now “blow kisses”. However, in most scenarios, she prefers to eat the kiss, rather than blow it back to the recipient. Ella will bring her hand to her mouth, and when performed correctly, she’ll swiftly remove her hand from her mouth and shout, “Maaaa”. When not executed correctly, Ella will insert her fingers, or sometimes her entire hand, into her mouth as if it were a gumming utensil. The recipient is then forced to wait several minutes until she separates the “kiss” from her mouth and forwards it back.

Ella continues to partake in the events that prelude Christmas. She spent the weekend attending Christmas gatherings at the Walker’s, as well as Papaw B. and Mimi’s. Ella really enjoyed socializing amongst everyone. She seems to be enjoying this Holiday season. However, the real test looms later this week when Ella visits the man in red. She’s taken a liking to the animated Santa underneath the tree at home. We’ll soon determine if the same can be said about the life-sized version.
