Ella's 4 Month Status Report

Ella had an eventful, yet very special weekend. The weekend began on Friday with a visit to her Pediatrician for her second round of shots. Ella once again got a little emotional as each shot penetrated her skin. Inevitably, she again questioned Mom and Dad's motives behind all of this. Not sure she's convinced this is for her own benefit.

The check-up also yielded Ella is still growing like a weed. In regards to her height, she's still in the 95 percentile as she is now 26.5 inches long. Her weight puts her in the 50 percentile. She tips the scale at 13 pounds 4 ounces. Dad is once again encouraged by this news and is confident she should be able to protect herself adequately on the playground.

On Saturday, Ella was baptized and was supported by her godparents/witnesses. Ella enjoyed the ceremony and was unfazed when the water ran into her eyes. She enjoyed continuing the celebration at home with family. She was thankful for the many gifts she received, which included several momentous items to commemorate the event, as well as her first Vera Bradley purse (courtesy of Nana).
