A reflection of Ella at Month 1

Ella turned 4 weeks old today. She celebrated with a trip to the pediatrician for a 1 month checkup. Ella is doing great. She now weighs 8 lbs 8 oz's and is 22.5 inches long. She's in the 95 percentile for her height. Dad is encouraged by this news as she should be able to defend herself adequately on the playground.

Ella had a good weekend. She made Nana's day by visiting her and Papaw P. on Saturday, one day after Nana's arm surgery. She was glad to know that Nana was doing fine and was able to hold her. Mimi and Papaw B. visited on Sunday and showed up just in time to catch a few smiles from Ella.

Ella was upset we hadn't captured a picture of Papaw P. holding her. We promised her we'd attach one within this post.

P.S. Ella is still pumped about the Colts Super Bowl victory. She talks about it every day. Dad is elated by her enthusiasm.
